H. H. Poole Middle School
Opening in l995, H.H. Poole remains a "State of the Art" facility. Located just south of route 610, the school is named in honor of Henry Harrison Poole. Mr. Poole was born near Stafford Courthouse and later graduated from Virginia State College. He was the supervisor of the black schools in Stafford and King George counties from 1936 to 1953.
Involving the entire school community is very important to the success of HHPMS. Our school continues to excel in both academic and extra-curricular endeavors. We are especially proud of our volunteer spirit and active participation in service projects that help fellow citizens in less fortunate circumstances.
